All three Generators share the load at DC2 with the help of paralleling gear. When a service outage occurs all three generators will start for 10 minutes. If the total load is less then 60% of capacity of one generator, then the other generators will shutdown automatically. If the load reaches 80% of capacity of one generator the other generators will restart
The Power plants are tested weekly. The Generators are load tested monthly.
